 Located in Lyon’s 1st arrondissement, the bouchon Le Garet opened its doors in 1920. Since then, it has been imbued with a captivating clandestine history. It was, in fact, a secret haunt of Jean Moulin, the famed figure of the French Resistance, and his secretary Daniel Cordier. To this day, a commemorative plaque marks the exact spot where Jean Moulin would always sit: to the right upon entering, with his back to the wall, so he could discreetly observe comings and goings.
